Often, when I’m approached by a parent looking for an English tutor, I’m often asked “Do you know of a good maths tutor too?” Tutoring for these two core subjects is hugely in demand.
I’ve teamed up with a colleague who offers a similar programme to me and runs ‘Mr W Maths.’
Mark is part of the tutoring network I’m part of, and we are both graduates of a business course where we built our tutoring programmes, so our offer and values are aligned.
Here’s a little information about my associate tutor. So, if you’re on the look out for a highly qualified and talented tutor, have a look at his offer on mrwmaths.co.uk
Mark says, ‘I know that Maths is a subject some people find difficult; however, I believe that by developing a good student/tutor relationship, where students feel supported and encouraged, then anything is possible.
Making Mathematics fun, enjoyable & memorable makes it easier for students to make greater connections in being able to access the breadth of knowledge and skills needed for GCSE success. My online lessons are fun, interactive and include the use of dynamic mathematical software where appropriate.
I am highly qualified – BScEd Educational Studies and Mathematics (Secondary) with QTS. I have also completed a MEd in Professional Development & the National Professional Education Qualification for Headship.
I was a Secondary School Headteacher between 2018 & 2022.
My favourite part of the week was teaching my Year 11 Maths class – great times!
