This week I have been busying advertising the Masterclass Sessions that I plan to run for AQA GCSE English Language students, and I thought I should clarify what the sessions offer.
The Masterclasses are a series of 8 weekly hour-long sessions which explore a different AQA GCSE English Paper question per week.
Theses sessions are a forensic examination of what the questions ask for; how to approach each one effectively; tips; hacks and exemplars. These sessions are recorded, so it’s cameras and mics off for students, which many young people prefer, though there is always the opportunity to ask questions at the end. After each session the recording and materials are sent to parents to share with their teen.
The advantage of these masterclasses is that they get to the heart of how to be successful without any waffle; they provide clarity and they leave the students with high quality revision materials for the entire AQA GCSE English Language syllabus. Best of all, at £20 per hour they won’t break the bank and represent they are fantastic value for money. And remember: all of the resources can be used as incredibly effective and revision for your young person, right up to their exams. They can be returned to time and time again.
I should make clear that there is no homework, feedback or reports with this service. It’s simply great revision and will suit both Year 10s and Year 11s. It is only for AQA GCSE students too.
